ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR UNITED KINGDOM VISA

1. Indian National holding a valid Indian passport can apply for United Kingdom Visa.

2. Person wishes to travel to United Kingdom for the purpose of Tourism/Family or friends Visit/Business can apply visa through Visa Lounge. Person who seeks employment in United Kingdom is not eligible to apply through Visa Lounge.

3. Travel insurance is mandatory requirement for passengers traveling to United Kingdom. Visa Lounge also provides Travel Insurance to passengers at an additional cost.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

Business:

1. Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum six months and minimum One page should be blank from both side for visa stamp. a) Attach all previous passport to show previous travel history (If any).

2. UK Visa Application Form: Visa application form has to be filled online. Please contact Udaan team for more details.

3. Photo Specification: Two recent passport size photographs with matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)

Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old,scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.

4. Covering Letter : Covering-letter from applicant on company’s letter head stating his name, designation,passport number, purpose and duration of visit duly signed by authorized signatory with company stamp and addressed to – The Visa Officer, British Deputy High Commission, New Delhi.

5. Invitation Letter: Invitation Letter from UK host / inviting Company on its letter head stating the purpose of travel and duration of stay and should be duly signed with signatory’s name and designation.

6. Financials

• a) Original and copy of Personal ITR for 3 yrs.
• b) Original and copy of Salary slip for the last Three months
• c) Original and copy of Personal Bank Statement for last six months mentioning the Bank’s name, Bank’s Telephone Number clearly.

7. Proof Of Occupation

• a) Company Registration Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation
• b) Brief Company
• c) Articles of Memorandum (Incase the applicant is MD/Director)
• d) Fixed deposit/Investment/Property Papers e) Company Balance sheet. f) Evidence of previous dealing with the UK Company e.g. Business meeting, email conversation etc

8. Please Note:

• a) Applications are being accepted through online appointment, we advise you to send your application well in advance so that we can arrange for an appointment.

9.Accommodation : Accommodation proof with complete details.

• Applicants can submit an authorization letter only in the following cases:
• a) If a parent collecting for a dependent child.
• b) A member of a family group collecting the passports for the whole family.
• c) Government Ministry representatives and a Business Express Programme (BEP) company representative, approved by the company’s authorized signatories.

• c) Fingerprints and facial photograph (known as 'biometric information') are required by the UK Border Agency as part of your applicant.

12. British Irish Visa Scheme: Indian citizens can now apply for one travel permit to visit both the UK and Ireland through British-Irish Visa Scheme (BIVS) in India. As per BIVS, applicants should apply for the visa of the country they wish to visit first. If you have an Irish short stay visa and you also want to visit the United Kingdom you must travel to Ireland first. If you have a British short stay visa and you also want to visit Ireland you must travel to the United Kingdom first. The BIVS issued visas will have BIVS coding endorsed on it. Tourist:

1. You can apply for a visa up to 3 months before your date of travel to the United Kingdom.

2. Passport: Valid for at least six months with a minimum of 2 blank pages available. (Please attach all old passports)

3. Application Form: One application form, has to be filled online and have to scheduled an appointment for submission of visa application. Kindly provide us the attached form (filled manually) we will do the online and schedule an appointment. Please note that applicant need to come for submission and biometric on the scheduled date & time at the application centre.

4. Photographs: Two recent color photographs in white background close up of full face and 35 mm x 45 mm in size.

5. Covering Letter: Covering letter on company letter head (if self-employed) from the applicant addressed to, the visa officer, British High Commission, Mumbai stating name of the applicant, personal profile, nationality, passport details, purpose of visit, period of stay with dates and also to be noted that all the expenses including medical, boarding & lodging will be borne by the applicant / sponsor. If visit relative/ friend: Invitation Letter: Invitation letter to addressed to, the visa officer, British High Commission, Mumbai stating name of the applicant, relationship, nationality, passport details, purpose of visit, period of stay with dates and also to be noted that all the expenses including medical, boarding & lodging will be borne by the applicant / sponsor.

• c) ITR last 03 years with computation sheet A.Y. 2018-2019

14. Financial documents: Updated bank statement for last 6 month and ITR copy last 3 years and other financial papers such as investment in shares or funds, property paper, Fix Deposit Receipts, Copy of the applicant’s international credit card etc.

Applicants can pay Visa and other fees through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking and IVR.

GERMANY VISA COST

1. Draft in the name of “Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany Mumbai” payable at Mumbai.

2. VFS Logistics Rs. 1269 – (If fingerprints have been given within the last 59 months)

NOTE

• A person who has not travelled to the Schengen states within the last 2 years has to come personally for interview at the German Consulate. There is NO Prior appointment system and it is on first come first serve basis. They accept limited applications in a day
• Embassy have stopped accepting the passports which are handwritten or have any observation on the front data page Hence, all such passport holders are requested to get a fresh passport booklet to apply for Visa
• The Embassy reserves the right to ask for additional documents and/or for a personal interview.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR BIOMETRIC:

From 2nd November 2015, Biometric is mandatory which will be valid for 59 months. Personal appearance for visa application submission is mandatory for every traveller after 2nd November. Applicants who have undertaken the biometric after 2nd November, are NOT required to go for biometric again for next 59 months and WE SHALL BE SUBMITTING AND COLLECTING THEIR CASES. Kindly note that in case of any shortcoming in visa form or documents, the applicants would be asked to take a fresh appointment and visit again. Hence, WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND TAKING EXPERT SERVICE OF Visa Lounge TO AVOID ANY SUCH HASSLE OR RE-VISIT FOR VISA SUBMISSION. Please do send us your passports and documents at least 2 days in advance so that we may check documents, take the appointment and prepare the documentation for visa submission.

Following travellers are exempted from Biometric

1. Children under 12 years of age

2. Persons for whom the collection of fingerprints is physically impossible

3. Sovereigns and other senior members of a royal family, Heads of State and members of the national

Governments (with their official delegations and spouses) if they travel for official purposes.

4. Applicant who have VIS printed on their last Schengen visa (provided the last Schengen visa is issued within 59 months)

5. Biometric will be valid for a period of 59 months, hence, the travellers who have undergone biometric for Schengen country after 2nd November 2015, will NOT NEED to undergo biometric for their next Schengen travel in next 59 months.
