Visa Eligibility Criteria

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR UNITED STATES VISA

1. Indian National holding a valid Indian passport can apply for United States Visa.

2. Person wishes to travel to United States for the purpose of Tourism/Family or friends Visit/Business can apply visa through Visa Lounge. Person who seeks employment in United States is not eligible to apply through Visa Lounge.

3. Travel insurance is mandatory requirement for passengers traveling to United States. Visa Lounge also provides Travel Insurance to passengers at an additional cost.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

Business:

1. Passport: Valid for at least six months with a minimum of 2 blank pages available. (Please attach all old passports).

2. Application Form: One application form has to be filled online and have to schedule an appointment for submission of visa application. Kindly provide us the attached form (filled manually) we will do the online and schedule an appointment.

3. Photographs: Required the two recent color photographs in white background size 51 x 51 mm and 70 to 80% face who qualify the interview waiver program or drop-box service or application under below 14 year age and above 80 year age.

4. Covering letter: Covering letter on company letter head the addressed to the visa officer, American Consulate, Mumbai, stating name of the applicant, nationality, passport no. purpose of visit, period of stay with dates and also to be mentioned that all the expenses including medical boarding and lodging will by the Company or Whom?

5. Invitation letter: Invitation from host/ invitee person addressed to The visa officer, American Consulate, Mumbai stating, name of the applicant, nationality, passport no. purpose of visit, period of stay with dates and also to be mentioned that all the expenses including medical boarding and lodging will be borne by the Company or whom?

6. Income tax papers for last 03 yearsM

7. Updated bank statement for last 06 month with bank seal and sign.

8. Salary slip for last 06 month

9. Company registration copy

NOTE: First Time travellers require following additional Documents:- Brief Company Profile; Proof of occupation; Income tax Papers, Company Balance Sheet, Bank Statement of Company for the last 6 months; Proof of Financial solvency; Fixed Deposits/ Investments/ Property Papers etc.

10. Proof of Occupation

• Company Registration Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation
• Brief Company Profile
• Articles of Memorandum (Incase the applicant is MD/Director)
• Proof of Proprietorship / Partnership (In case applicant is Proprietor / Partner in a firm)
• Import / Export License (if applicable)

11. Airline Reservation: Ticket Itinerary

Please Note:

• Personal appearance is Mandatory
• If you have temporary injuries on your fingers, please wait until the injuries heal before your appointment date. You should also remove any henna on your fingertips, or allow it to fade, as this may prevent from getting a clear scan.
• For children under 5 years, application should be dropped in drop box at the Offsite Facilitation Center (OFC). Passport and visa copy of the parents should be attached with the application.

Tourist:

1. Covering letter from the applicant addressed to the visa officer, American Consulate, Mumbai. Stating name of the applicant, nationality, passport no. purpose of visit, period of stay with dates and also to be mentioned that all the expenses including medical boarding and lodging will by the whom?

9. Company bank statement for last 06 month with bank seal and sign.

10. ITR last 03 years

11. Income tax papers for the last 03 years

12. Updated bank statement for the last 06 month with bank seal and sign.

13. Valid passport + old passports if any

14. If sponsored by any relative/ Friend then below mentioned documents are also has to carried at the time of Interview

• Letter of invitation cum sponsorship from USA addressed to the visa officer, American Consulate, Mumbai. Stating name of the applicant, relationship, nationality, passport no. purpose of visit, period of stay with dates and also to be mentioned that all the expenses including medical boarding and lodging will be borne by the sponsors.
• Sponsors Passport copy along with visa copy.

PROCESSING TIME

Minimum 2-3 working days post interview

PAYMENTS

Applicants can pay Visa and other fees through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking and IVR.

UNITED STATES VISA COST

1. Draft in the name of “Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany Mumbai” payable at Mumbai.

2. VFS Logistics Rs. 1269 – (If fingerprints have been given within the last 59 months)
